he is doing a terrible job if we don't reach what I consider the baseline for a good season. It would just mean we didn't have a good season. Every coach has em, it happens, and for a multitude of reasons (one of which may be that you have a roster still in flux from a rebuild). Norm didn't have a good season in either 1983-84 or 1984-85, after having a bunch in a row and a very established program and then going on to have many more good seasons after that period. He didn't suddenly become an incompetent for 2 years or forget what he was doing. He just didn't have good years.
But making the NIT or finishing in the lower half of our conference is never a good season at MU in my opinion.
