Last season's team minutes played
1. Robertson 1187 min 16.3 ppg
2. Barnett 1097 min 13.7 ppg
3. Geist 860 min 7.3
4. Puryear 835 min 8.6 ppg
5. J Porter 808 min 9.9 ppg
Porter's numbers for the season don't tell the whole story because he progressed significantly and by the end of the season was a much better player.
If Tilmon could stay out of foul trouble he could be an impact player but SEC officiating bias is a factor in that.
I'd say last season of the incoming recruits Robertson was a impact player and by the end of the season J Porter was an impact player at times.
Freshmen are really an unknown quantity until they set foot on the floor. It appears to me Geist will do a little more scoring than last year unless one of the freshmen is the next Michael Jordan. Porter will get a lot more minutes and will be leaned on heavily to score. Hard to count on Tilmon given the treatment he got from the SEC officiating crews.
