The plaintiff had informed the court it gathered records which indicate:
- In December 1988, Peeler was placed on disciplinary probation at Missouri for academic dishonesty, after submitting somebody else's test
- he was tested every day for alcohol and once a week for drugs, after an in-patient rehab experience failed
- In January 1989, Peeler was assigned a chaperone at Missouri, who had difficulty locating the player for classes
- In January 1989, Peeler was accused of striking a man, Patrick Welch, outside the fieldhouse
- In April 1989, Peeler was dismissed from the University of Missouri team because of three positive tests for marijuana
- In Oct. 1989, he was caught driving on a suspended license
- In September 1990, a director of a Missouri tutoring program asked an instructor to change Peeler's failing grade. The grade wasn't changed and Peeler was declared ineligible
- In October 1991, another woman reported to Columbia police that Peeler jumped her and choked her in a parking lot after seeing her with another man
- In June 1992, Peeler pled guilty to concealing a weapon and to misdemeanors that he caused injury by biting and restraining a woman unlawfully
