based on the average prosecutor's caseload. Don't forget that the reality is that most prosecutor's can't dive into the weeds on a case like his. It's not a murder charge.
It would be a bottom of the pile case and a great one for any defense attorney worth his retainer to go to work humanizing Cruz as someone who has been through tremendous pain. Unless there was a gun involved, it probably wouldn't come up as a condition of probation unless the underlying charge involved a gun.
Even so, there's a chance it wouldn't have that tracking system is completely reliant upon human entry. It's weak.
