Ken Pomeroy built a website and makes a career from analyzing basketball statistics. He's not always right, but he's a successful guy doing that. When you dismiss someone like that with phrases like "Little Lord Pomeroy" you are acting like an illiterate hick or someone so set on their agenda that you're blinded by it. I don't think Pomeroy always gets it right (Auburn showed us that), but being dismissive about it is petty. It undermines what I think is a fairly serious point of view and one worthy of debate and discussion.

Why don't we confine it to that? Let's discuss the SI article and whether Missourians have a right to feel offended without trying to pin losses by a bunch of kids to its coattails. How about that?
