'With all due respect to the political views of some of my family members, I'm not here on any kind of social justice warrior basis. I'm here to win basketball games. Everyone on this team is here to win basketball games - and that's it. Anyone that wants to do politics can do them on their own time. The University of Missouri is a top notch educational institution and neither me or my players have experienced any 'systemic racism'. In fact we've experienced just the opposite 'systemic support', love and appreciation from a very enthusiastic fan base. We send that love and support back and I will do everything in my power to win and win now. There is no one at Mizzou stopping us - if we don't get this done this season it's on me and it's on this team. And that's where the buck stops."
