for those who believe there are lessons to be learned or consequences to be suffered, for the good of the program we need to start ignoring them or not taking them into consideration.

Hopefully the choice has been already made and you are seeing it play out. People are being allowed to express their opinions and nobody is feeling the need to cater and qualify their statements with any kind of follow up.
