-there are plenty of players who have received their deserved share of criticism
-he doesn't stretch the floor or play solid defense
-it's not hard to tell what his shooting percentage is. it's simple math. and we've had 2+ years to collect a perfectly viable sample size. 333 shots, 115 field goals. 34.5% FG%. 273 3pt attempts, 30% 3PT%. that's certifiably terrible.
-he absolutely is not someone who needs to be accounted for on offense. he allows the opposing defense to play off and help with pretty much whoever they need to whenever he is on the floor.
-he makes few mistakes on defense. that's true. unfortunately the one mistake he routinely makes is getting beat off the dribble, which in turn puts our interior defenders in a tough position to have to cover both their man and help with his. tilmon's foul problems are directly correlated to CVL's minutes.
-i would suspect that cuonzo really doesn't want him in the game, but has to have him in the game because of his sparse bench. i'm sure he's happy to have him available for garbage time, however.
