That was on coaching and allowing the SCe loss to effect them. But plenty of MU teams, teams better than this one, have lost games like SCe at home. That's just the SEC. We would have loved that game to be closer but it was the players that folded after the kick return, the INT and the Deebo TD.
But even if you really believe this team had 9 or 10 win talent (I don't), you have to acknowledge the challenges of a 2nd year coach. Second year coaches are still learning on the job.
So if you're complaint is "we never should have hired Odom in the first place", then you'd have a good argument. Others could disagree but you'd have an argument.
But he was hired and he has the gig now. And he's doing a pretty damn good job in my opinion, all things considered.
