The idea that letting the elite of the elite skip college will hurt college basketball is not really a problem as long as the other kids are required to stay longer once they arrive.

Even if the heaviest of years, the direct to NBA/DL list is probably on 25-ish kids. You put the rest of them in college for at least 3 years and college hoops will flourish.
