"the players are out of shape," or "the coaches are in way over their heads," or whatever narrative. When it was more to do with a scheme change, losing Wilson before the season even started, scrambling to get Shipp, eventually firing Shipp, BO letting Cross make calls, and player attitudes. Yeah, you have to have talent, but you cannot discount the effect those things had before and throughout the season. Those things have been addressed and should be corrected.
