media shares will make all happy. right now, the pac has a very long way to go to catch up with the big 12 and that may, ultimately, be the roadblock to any kind of an alliance. i suppose they could align and allow each to keep their tier3 rights as an alternative. lots of possibilities are open due mostly to the awful state of their western network, which no one seems to be watching.
