Missouri was added because our profile checked a lot of boxes for the SEC, not the least being that we were immediately accretive to conference revenues.

The SEC didn't have to expand. If they had wanted to, schools like West Virginia had been available and had been holding up their skirts for awhile.

Missouri fit in a lot of ways, including academics, geographic proximity, flagship state university, facilities, breath of our athletics programs and the future willingness and ability to upgrade and grow our programs.

To think otherwise is just plain stupidity.
