How will that work for you?
So let's assume you go that route and for go all public entities. You find a source of private power. How will they get it to your house if they cannot use public easements. Will you contract with each and every homeowner between you and the power plant to run lines through their property? How will you get to the local store for supplies? Can't use the public roads so once again I guess you have to contract with each of your neighbors to pass through their property.
Do you see the limitations of that model?
No one is stealing from you. You are paying your fair share to build and maintain public infrastructure. And yes that will include some things you may never use. But someone else is helping pave the road in front of your house that they will never use.
