There are organizations and folks out there who work for parenting skills and parental involvement in schools and working with Johnny Law.

True there is not enough of that. The problems are also deeply systemic.

Perhaps its time we abandon the model of funding local schools with the local housing base and spread that around so that East St Louis kids have the opportunities, the gear and investment enjoyed by Clayton and Ladue. Just saying.
