How do you know his mandate was to set the stage for someone else?
How do you know he was never supposed to win?
How do you know he was never supposed to be "the guy"?
Why is it stupid to think your mere assertions are only what you want to believe about the past, and are probably a revisionist's history?
How is it you can think things these made up facts are true, but when others reject your made up facts, they just can't think things through?
Your post is insulting and condescending and clearly, you knew it would be, because of how you stated it. The thing is, you're wrong to take such a position, because you cannot prove that by any objective facts in place at the time of the hire.
