I'd be willing to bet there are a sizable number of folks that come here to check on rumors, updates and to just generally be entertained because we're all obviously Mizzou fans. That group of folks also doesn't probably post a whole lot either.
I'd also be willing to bet that there are many of us who are of a certain age (35-55) who remember the Norm Stewart Days (including folks like Kim Anderson) and look back on them fondly. And to take it one step further....we're able to not only enjoy the old days but ALSO are excited about the recent events with a new coach and the possibilities he may bring to us (see MPJ, etc).
I guess when it comes down to it, I think it's possible to have wished Kim's time here would've worked out and rooted for him and our Tigers all the way through until the end (and be happy for him that he's found a new job at Pittsburg State). I think we are be able to recognize that the change happened and still be supportive of what's to come even with being a Tiger fan through whatever administration/era was in place.
Sorry for the rant, but my gosh...this just doesn't seem that hard to me. Just because you are happy about what's going on now doesn't mean you have to hate what happened before OR vice versa.
