2009,(excepting the great 2012 team, of course), gradually, hit by hit, just kind of beat every one down.
Having Mike Anderson stick to that system of his with exceptional players who obviously didn't fit it. Having Frank Haith continually be bringing in transfer players instead of building with freshmen. The Dixon stuff, and all the other off the court problems, mostly involving Haith players. Then, yes, Kim coming in and, right away, not being able to compete, on the court, at a respectable level.
All these things, in my opinion, created the atmosphere
for people to not have any patience for what needed to be done - a thorough rebuild of the program. Kim still did it, however, and it cost him his job.
And these propaganda people I speak of, so shameful their actions. Right there, every day, more than ready to pile on, any chance they could, as Kim
did the hard work to give us a solid foundation to build upon.
