markets are State by state. Any state that chose to fully implement Obamacare should have data to back up the claim that healthcare cost have went down. I suspect that your NPR report was very selective in the data they used. Did they include ALL users or just those new to the system? Did they factor in the new 'taxes' as part of the cost? Did they factor in the increases to Medicare that were required to fully implement?
I know you think NPR is unbiased but they have been a shil for the left for a very long time now and even if what you claim is what they reported I would not believe it until I had a chance to look at the numbers they used or failed to use as the case may be.
The question is very easy to answer if someone has access to all of the numbers. Take total healthcare cost, premiums, deductibles, taxes to Medicare, taxes used for subsidies and other miscellaneous costs and divide by the number of people in the market. Do it before and after Obamacare. Are the cost rising or falling? Simple.
I highly doubt NPR would do that because they know what the results would be and they are not the ones that fit their agenda.
