But I don't think it was dire, either. There was talent on this roster, certainly enough to go to a bowl game.
Odom made coaching hire mistakes but also made good ones, too. That's fixable.
The defensive scheme change was a disaster.
We threw away two games we should have won with poor coaching.
His recruiting addresses our needs well, which I like. OTOH, he isn't quite getting the talent level he should be able to get.
This year he has to make strides and correct his mistakes. We need to be a bowl team this vining year. If we don't see growth in most of these areas in the next year or so, I think he'll be in trouble.
