to me Odom has one strike against him because the team quit against Kentucky and Middle Tennessee. However he had them motivated to play Arkansas. If he is able to pull in a significant number of the instate recruits next year is competing (not necessarily winning) for the east title in 2018 then I think that is progress. I do not think we are that outclassed by anyone in the East and a team like Florida, while they usually will beat us in Gainesville, can be beaten in Columbia.
