fielding team this year, despite losing two really good defensive OFs in Crane and Gadbois.
Mack is solid at catcher.
I think the infield will be even better, with Pierce and Sanchez holding down the corners. Sanchez made great strides at 3B last year. Romaine looks solid at 2B, and I think Burnside, despite being a freshman, will be an upgrade over Sami at SS, she looked really smooth in the fall and has a gun for an arm. Fagan made some great plays with her athleticism, but had a lot of errors too.
OF will be a question, or rather an unknown, with breaking in 2 new players. But Nash is a good fielder and will get to a lot of balls with her speed.
