Not much has changed in the past 40-50 years. Over time some of the power schools may be up or down short term, but it's always the same 15-20 teams that dominate recruiting and winning.

In addition to the teams mentioned above you can add teams like...

Notre Dame
USC
Texas
Penn State
Florida State
LSU
Florida
Auburn
Miami
Clemson
Tennessee

Unfortunately over the years we have not been in the same category as these programs and possibly never will in terms of recruiting.

I doubt that we have ever had a top 15 recruiting class and are typically in the 35-40 range.

It is what it is.
