I am simply correcting inaccurate beliefs held by some here, including you.
And
2) We didn't even properly monitor whether Wes Clark was attending class when he was on major academic probation. When you say "We" do you mean Tigerboard? The FIJItiger family? The human population in general?
No, you mean Mizzou failed to monitor. Even though it is absolutely clear that Wes was being monitored throughout his career at Mizzou, just like every other athlete.
I also disagree on whether the coaching staff should be involved in monitoring academic progress - they absolutely should be. But that's a different discussion.
