Mizzou, which announced Tuesday that Clark was no longer part of the men’s basketball program an hour before the Tigers’ win against South Carolina, maintains that he was dismissed.

After the Tennessee game Feb. 13, Clark was told he was off scholarship during a meeting with second-year Tigers coach Kim Anderson.

Wes Clark took to social media Wednesday to dispel the notion that he was dismissed from the Missouri men’s basketball team.

“Stop texting me stop calling me plz. I did not get dismissed, I quit, and now I’m moving forward,” Clark posted on Twitter.
