delegates responsibilities and expects his subordinates to report back to him regularly with updates. This isn't a mom and pop store. That doesn't mean he never asks players about what's going on, but I'm sure there is more to it than you are presenting. Some things are said for public consumption, things which include consideration for not wanting to throw his staff under the bus.
