of not monitoring Wes Clark's academic progress?

That makes no sense whatsoever.

They dismissed him from the team because he wasn't doing what he was supposed to do. They wouldn't have known he wasn't doing what he was supposed to do unless they were monitoring what he was (not) doing.

The only thing you could blame on Mizzou in this situation is not forcing him to do something he clearly wasn't going to do.

The fact that he's not on the team is all on Wes.
