That's borderline crazy

This is the worst the program has ever been, at least since Bob Vanatta. Kim's reign as HC has been nothing short of an actual disaster for the program. The next head coach is basically starting from scratch. We have next to no talent in the program, minimal fan support and zero recruiting ties to any of the important markets (STL & KC, and to a lesser extent the surrounding Midwest). If you're a high level recruit from STL/KC and you watch the on court product under Kim you're crazy to come here (and the recruiting results in those areas show this). About the only thing he accomplished was coaching through scholarship sanctions.
You solve this problem long-term by hiring an actual talented coach who is committed to building the program. Kim is not that man. I'm not defending Frank Haith: Frank screwed us. But to paint Kim as this person who has washed away the ills of the past and created a base of success for Mizzou is beyond rational thinking. Kim's a great, great guy and I very much wanted him to succeed here, even if I thought the decision to hire him was beyond stupid. But man, he stinks as a high level D1 coach.
