"blue hairs" based on their age and their affinity for Norm are probably the reason we have Kim. It's not some big group of old money donors who wanted Kim. Some older alumni wanted Kim. Some wanted other coaches.

It really was only a couple big-time donors that got into the ear of Wolfe and convinced him that Kim was the hire to make. Wolfe strongly pushed the Kim hiring to Alden and the rest is history. The funny thing is that neither attend games any more and have privately admitted that it was a mistake.
