First, the God of Abraham was El also called Elohim, a fave God of the time and not Yahveh.
Job is a story told to emphasize the importance of maintaining one's beliefs through tough times. There was no Job.
These are old testament folk-tales. Stories of myth like fairytales with a heavy dose of morality.
And THAT is good. MUCH power there. But there are not historic events. They were compromised of a long and heralded oral tradition that scribes (those who could write) put down in writing during the Babylonian Captivity under Cyrus so that the fabrid of their tribal culture would not be lost. That was 560-600 BCE or so.
