but one can't live on "made in the US". Even when you are buying made in the US, the components are frequently made elsewhere.
UT made a deal - whether their arm was twisted or they were induced, they made a corporate decision to retain the IN plant. If the pricing/cost becomes an issue for UT (if carrier is bleeding $), they will quietly spin-off carrier in a couple of years and that plant will move anyway.
The real irony here is that pubs are viewed as anti-govt (intervention) & pro-business; while dems are the bleeding heart, pro-labor group.
