competitors of mine was acceptable, but when looking at the 'intangibles' I might be less inclined to do additional work with them due to concerns that (knowingly or unknowingly) some proprietary information covered by the mutual NDA might find their way into my competitor's hands... or that product improvements made for my company would be also sold to my competitors...
