That is laughable that anyone would equate the slap on the wrist penalty Kim and Mizzou faced to what Baylor faced. Baylor had a teammate murder another teammate. They were wondering if the basketball program was going to face the death penalty. The
The most difficult thing Kim had to recruit against was himself and his lack of experience at the DI level. Drew was recruiting against a University and program that had a player murdered.
The idea that Kim Anderson faced a dire situation that was more difficult than what most new coaches face after the previous coach was fired, is simply false.
Kim did not inherit a situation that was all that difficult.
