Kim as you like to believe.
It wasn't public knowledge until last winter so it didn't hurt is in recruiting for Kim's first year and a half.
Then the actual penalties likely didn't cost us any wins. We weren't winning a SEC tourney game last year.
We didn't use one of the scholarships already last year.
This year we weren't finding a quality player to take the other scholarship. Hell we wasted a scholarship on Kemp in June because he was the best player we could get and now he's not even playing.
It really is a pretty weak excuse. Mike Anderson won 30 games in his 3rd year after inheriting a program with scholarship restrictions and on probation. Using the NCAA violations as an excuse for how bad this team is is pretty dumb.
