have to make that back to turn a profit. If my competition just stole my idea then they do not have to figure that $100,000 into their business plan. They can undercut my prices and drive me out of business selling a product I developed.

If these were the rules we were operating under then no one would ever sink money into R&D because it could never be recouped.

By the way just constantly saying that information and ideas cannnot be stolen does not make it true. I realize that this is your go to move in every debate. If something is not true the first time then it is not true the 1,000th time either. I could just as easily say there are no personal property rights either and then proceed with dumbazzed arguments from that premise. They would be just as dumb as your current argument.
