for owning slaves in his day?
THAT is the point. Society accepted slavery as a part of life. Those who owned slaves were not vilified or looked down upon. It was a grave moral evil that society as a whole did not recognize and turned a blind eye to.
Abortion, the deliberate, often brutal killing of thousands of innocent human beings today, more per day than were killed in all of the 911 attacks combined is a grave moral evil that much of society today turns a blind eye towards.
One day people will look back on the people who promoted it, perpetrated it and/or participated in it and condemn them for the clear and obvious evil they were involved in and responsible for. Just as those who today look back at the people who owned slaves, participated in the buying and selling of other human beings or turned a blind eye to the clear and grave evil and say how in the world could they not see what evil they were doing, so too will future generations look back and judge this one for its grave evil.
Obama has the blood of tens of millions of innocent human beings on his hands and it will not just be God who judges him for it but future generations as well. Because of the obvious connection to the racist and eugenicist goals of the powers that be who have instigated, promoted and protected the abortion industry he will also be judged for selling the poor, the downtrodden and the minorities down the river for his own personal political gain.
His legacy is an evil one and whether Obamacare or his domestic and international policies can be rescued will not save his legacy.
Fwiw, Thomas Jefferson may have had his enemies and detractors but must not have been too unpopular in his day if he was selected to write the Declaration of Independence & if he was elected to serve in multiple offices, including President of the United States.
