The design of the Founding Fathers has worked very well for two plus centuries. Perhaps we should yield to their wisdom. Please keep in mind that the name of our county is The United "States" of America. If the States are not important, why do we need governors and legislatures to service the unique needs of each State. Otherwise, Ameritopia would be just one large coast-to-coast mass of people.
