One of Kim's huge initial mistakes was not using his Sedalia connections to keep Punter on board, and not accepting Danuel House as a transfer. That would have given him a ready to compete initial roster that he could have built some early momentum with and established some respect and legitimacy to himself (and ideally given his recruiters something to sell and land some talent).
