Maybe he will this season. Maybe he won't.

He's made mistakes. He's also had a lot of **** stacked against him. Oops, there's that past. Sorry.

You can't discuss whether he's doing a good job or not without acknowledging the past. You can say he should have overcome those issues by now. But you can't deny there were issues that were beyond his control.
