that the NCAA had some evidence of improper payments but the evidence was FH's bank account statemenst. The NCAA had obtained access to FH's bank of america statements through not so legal means. So they had to throw out the evidence and backtrack they did.

Explained. Probably tons of evidence against all kinds of people if they could start rooting through personal accounts and whatnot.
