I think you are wrong. I agree it takes talent to win, but if you look back to our better years with Chase at QB. We couldn't win against OU even when we played equal or better than them. Most thought it was a toughness issue back then. Mental toughness for sure, but that almost always comes with physical toughness.
Same thing happened against Auburn in the offensive shoot out. They played tougher at the most important time.
Lock had his problems last year which I knew he would. He was a freshman. Those kind of QBs rarely avoid a lot of mistakes and we had no OL, no RB, and no wrs making plays to help him out. He gets some blame as every QB that leads a team to a loss should, but as far as I'm concern he should get no more than 1/4 of the blame. Certainly not the majority. Pinkel and Henson deserve about 90% of the blame for last year.
