My first post; I'll start with some things people not like

The new coach is unproven, and I'm concerned to hear that his mantra is "toughness wins." Not really. The team that wins usually either (1) has more talent by a fair margin, or (2) has practiced more effectively. That includes both focus in practice and practicing the right things the right amount of time. I'd like "preparation wins" or "focus wins" or "talent wins" but no, you can't go with the last one.

Second, I'll say that IMO the main issue with our offense last year was at QB. Everything else was messed up as well but I'm placing most of the blame on the QB play.

There should be improvement from Lock with one year under his belt, but I don't see him ever being among the top in the SEC. It has been reported that both Lock and Zanders will play. Last year, Lock pretty clearly out-played Zanders in practice (what little I saw) but it still remains to be seen: will he give us the best chance to move the ball on offense or will we just give up and let Zanders run the ball as a primary part of our offense?

The OL is not the key to the offense this year - the QB play is the key.
