If it's 2020 and we haven't made the postseason, the rate of progress would obviously be too slow.
Looking objectively at the circumstances KA inherited in May 2014, this is not the season where we can make an informed measurement of the rate of progress.
I don't give him a blank check, don't get me wrong. There has to be some progress. We can't be worse than we were last year. But one would have to be a pretty entitled baby to demand a post-season result after this season. That isn't reality.
