the deepening the gene pool by bringing in outsiders with different ideas of how to do things is not necessarily bad. I would have been happy with Sunny or Owens, based on their long standing relationships to the school and community. However, I think it's good for the University system to be tested with new ideas from outside the confines of our state or the local community. It's how we evolve. Unless you don't believe in evolution, in which case, the State for you is immediately to the West.
