They are embarrassed by ridiculous no-show intern schemes, love triangle vehicular assaults between teammates, sexual assault cover ups, etc.

I gather they just want some peace on their watch and in one way there is nothing more peaceful as a dead corpse, which is what Kim The Mortician Anderson has produced.
