As if that was a good thing. That is certainly concerning. I think at a minimum that's an indication of the mindset behind both choices of KA and Sterk:

Make sure we get a guy who isn't going anywhere on his own. That might be a function of low ambitions or a function of age but first and foremost let's just get a guy who will stick around and at least not embarrass us off the court or in the public. If he's competent that's a bonus but not a requirement.
