He said, " We don't look to Arkansas as anything because they have never been close to winning a title. Heard a Bama fan say the same thing before they hired Saban. I gae you examples that you wish not to follow. Fine. You can believe what you like but try and go by a recruits house and see what they think. Maybe some other fan. But not this one. I played college football, worked with an agent and been around recruiting for a long time. I am heavily involved know with a family that has a kid that is being heavily recruited in basketball. Arkansas can say this is where we were and this is where we are going. Recruits see the SEC banners in basketball and that title hanging there. The coaches can tell them we have been there before help us get there again. You don't have a title to tell a player anything. Teams that have won titles the last 30 years can sell that. You don't think Miami is selling that in football. The fact that they have been there before. Arkansas can't say that in football so some major recruits they are going to lose just like MO. Even though they have not won allot in a while they are still getting better recruits than both of our programs. Recent history both MO and Arkansas are better. I am not telling you to lower your expectations. I should be more patient than Arkansas. If you think by hiring someone else is going to get you where Arkansas is headed....you are in trouble. Arkansas is already killing you in recruiting. This year, next year with the verbals they already have and the next. You would be hard pressed to catch up firing KA right now.
