I realize that some of you are going to focus on the fact that I am not a MO fan. However, read the point I am trying to make. I read on this site and all other SEC teams message boards on a daily basis. I am not able to read everything but I do pick out some posts. Allot of MO fans expectations are unrealistic. You should expect 4-5 more wins this year not a 20 win season after just winning 10 games. It's not like you guys have picked up 3 top 10 players. If you are really serious about wanting progress that's a realistic expectation or you are just setting yourself up for disappointment.
One last point. MO program has to grow to a certain level before you can expect a big time coach to come to the program. If you look at the history of the BB program you find that there are no final fours and 3 elite 8 appearances since the 80's. MO averages about 5 NCAA bids in 10 years. My point? That's not exactly an elite status program. Even if you hire another coach it's not going to be a coach from a major D1 program that has had major success. It's going to have to be a mid major up and coming coach just like you have now. I don't know if KA is the answer or not. He came to the school under difficult circumstances as well. Regardless fans can't expect microwave success. That's what some of your fans are saying when they expect 20 wins or KA needs to be fired. Be patient and give KA 3 more years and see what happens. Hiring a new coach every 3-4 years is only going to hurt it. You see that now when MA left then a few years later Haith left and now it's unstable. Kids want to know when you are recruiting them if you are going to be the HC the next year. BE PATIENT....
