multiple top 150 recruits. That is the talent part of the equation. Kim isn't getting players talented enough to finish top 3 in conference. Mike Anderson's 3rd class won 30 games as seniors and had two top 150 recruits. The class after that had another top 150 recruit. The class after that had a top 75 recruit and the #1 juco. That's how you get to the point you are describing. Kim isn't recruiting anywhere near that level right now and I don't see that changing with his seat being so hot.

2008 - Had five top 150 recruits.
2009 - Had four top 150 recruits
2010 - Had three top 150 recruits, a top 75 recruit, and the #1 juco.
2011 - Had three top 150 recruits, a top 75 recruit, and the #1 juco.
