offers from other P5 schools. They can sign with us early or risk losing their spot and waiting for one of the other offers to miss on their top targets. I believe Torren Jones had an Arizona offer. I'm sure i could go through my list and they all would have had upper-tier P5 "offers".

Reed Nikko is an example of this. He had an Iowa offer but they Ryan Kreiner, Tyler Cook, and one other big before Reed on their list.

Jackson had "offers" from other P5 schools but non were committable.

Hughes was committed to Louisville but was allowed to decommit without any fight. That doesn't happen with players that a school truly wants.
